In case you’re not aware, I’m staying away from Mahjong for three months. The plan began in mid Apr. Not that I’ve suffered heavy losses or anything, I just thought I should take some time off MJ and do something else for a change.

And so, I was DOING ART!

I’ve been proud to tell people the number of As I got for my O Levels (three only lah, actually- haha), and I’ve never been shy to admit my Art and Craft sucks. Big Time.

Yeh, I can’t draw a straight line without a ruler. Or colour properly within a box. And I hate to wash those brushes after painting. Most of the time, it’s because I’m too chor lor and stick those brushes too hard into paint bottles, and thus I had trouble cleaning them afterwards.

There was this Inter-Class Drawing Competition, where the whole level sat down to draw something. I never knew what the topic was, as my teacher said “Chee Yong, you don’t take part and waste paper lah. You come and help me do something.”

However, I was most intrigued when I saw Tinker Tailor’s post on ArtRage.

And this is my first piece of “work”, or whatever you wanna call it.
